The Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership’s workshop "Blue Economy - The key towards Mediterranean regional Sustainability" is part of the POSIDONIA International Shipping Exhibition. It will take place June 7th, 2024 in Athens.
The Partnership is committed to engaging key actors from academia, industry, government and civil society. The POSIDONIA workshop is an opportunity particularly for the maritime industry from the Mediterranean sea basin to learn more of what the Partnership can offer in terms of funding, networking and investment opportunities. Representatives from some of the projects funded by the Partnership will present their projects at the event.
The workshop offers an occasion for participants to network with relevant counterparts, exchange experiences, knowledge and good practice, and explore the potential for cooperation and common undertakings.
Through brief presentations and an interactive discussion involving the audience, this workshop aims at bringing together relevant stakeholders of the blue economy sector, including authorities, research, business and industry, as well as the European Commission and international organisations.
